Panthers end losing streak with home win
Carroll County shot 52 percent from the field in its 76-54 victory over visiting Evangel Christian on Monday, Jan. 13.
The two teams looked to be headed for a shootout, posting 44 points in the first quarter. Carroll County led 23-21 and gradually extended its lead each quarter. The Panthers (7-8) outscored the Eagles (4-7) 38-24 in the second half.
Sophomore Isaiah Hogan came off the bench and scored all 16 of his points in the first half, including 4-8 from 3-point range.
