     After last week’s 20-12 loss to Magoffin County, the Raiders came home on Aug. 26 to face off against Bishop Brossart. Despite some well-executed and aggressive offensive and defensive plays, the Raiders suffered another loss, this time 42-6.

    The Alexandria, Ky., Mustangs, one of nine schools with a 2-0 record so far in Class 1A, won it’s first game against Betsy Layne High School the previous week. Next up for the Raiders is an away game against the Henry County Wildcats starting at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 3.
