The Aces fell in the second round Sunday to eventual champion Beechwood.

  • 2016 Student-Athlete of the Year...

The two award winners will be selected by the staff of The News-Democrat. Each varsity head coach was asked to nominate at least one member of their team for the award, based on the student’s athletic and academic performance for the school year. Eligible nominees were students in high school playing on a varsity team of any sport. Underclassmen who win the award are not eligible to win again. Last year’s winners were Mackenzi Hawkins and Zakk Hicks.
