Former Webster Drugs owner Chuck Webster dies

Charles A. “Chuck” Webster, 62, passed away at his home Aug. 10 after a two year struggle with brain cancer. The former owner of Webster Drugs had been a business fixture in the Carrollton community for more than 35 years before selling the business and retiring in March of 2017.

The drug store had been a family business for more than 60 years after his father, Charlie, purchased the Stamper Drug Store on Fifth Street and reopened the business on July 1, 1956.
