The Panthers tennis team defeated rival Gallatin County, 4-1, March 27 at Warsaw. Head coach Juan Fernandez said No. 1 and 2 singles players Sergio Pascual and Josh McCarty dominated their matches. But the match of the night was the No. 1 doubles match between Carroll’s Joe Gemmer and Dakota Corbin and Gallatin’s Eli Ackermann and Luke Ackermann. Fernandez said both of his players have been improving a lot from last year. The match was very close, and the “points were well fought and with a really high level of energy,” he said.
