Riders from around the region will be revving up their engines Saturday morning for the inaugural Nick Howard Memorial Motocross Race at Nickota Motorsports Park on Bucks Run road, outside of Bedford.

Cleveland and Debbie Howard opened the track a year ago and have been hosting practices for aspiring racers throughout the summer. Along with being the first race to honor their son, an avid motocross racer who died in a car accident in 2008, it is the first-ever race at the track.
