Carroll school board looking at new athletic event admission policy for high school, middle school students

Carroll County student behavior at sporting events was discussed during a Carroll County Board of Education working meeting Sept. 17 after someone was injured at a home football game on Aug. 30.

The lack of parent supervision allowing students to rough house at the football game has become a concern.

Carroll County Athletic Director Paul Stone met with the board at the working meeting and proposed that only Carroll County High School students get in free for high school athletic events and other students would pay a $2 admission fee.
