Bedford Volunteer Fire Department will sponsor a chili supper on Saturday, Nov. 11, to raise funds for their “Shop with a Hero” program.
The supper will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Bedford Firehouse, 24 Church Street. Cost for the chili supper, which consists of a bowl of chili, a sandwich, and drink, is $8. A bowl of chili only costs $5.
In addition to the chili supper, several firefighters are accepting the challenge of a chili cook-off during the event. Tickets are $2 for a tasting size portion of their chili entries with all proceeds also going to the “Shop with a Hero” fund.
