All-NCKC basketball teams named

Boys Team

Carroll County’s Cameron Butcher and Trimble County’s Ethan Horn have both been named to the All-NCKC Boys Basketball Team.

Butcher, a senior forward averaged 6.8 points and 4.3 rebounds per game while Horn, a senior guard, averaged 21.8 points and 6.5 rebounds per game and capped his career at Trimble County as the Raiders’ career scoring leader in boys basketball with 1,691 points as Trimble finished the season at 7-24 overall.

The North Central Kentucky Conference released the All-NCKC Boys Basketball Team on Friday, March 15. Other honorees were: Aaron Gutman, Julian Dixon, Zach Smith and Landon Bach, all of Walton-Verona; Matt Griffin, Kellen Dossett and Kasen Baker of Gallatin County; Honore Yangoua and Colton Feagan of Williamstown; Micah Shelton and Brax Ward of Owen County; Baylor Nolin and Jordan King of Henry County and Brady White of Eminence.

Meanwhile, Trimble County’s Addison Edmondson and Jolie Wilcoxson and Carroll County’s Kaitlyn Hensley were all named to the All-NCKC Girls Basketball Team. and Trimble County’s has been named to the All-NCKC Girls’ Basketball Team.

Edmondson led Trimble County in both scoring and rebounding, averaging 15.0 points and 5.5 rebounds per game while Wilcoxson averaged 7.0 points and 4.9 rebounds per game.

Hensley, a senior guard, averaged 16.6 points and 5.3 rebounds per game this season. She scored her 1,000th career point in December.

Girls Team

The North Central Kentucky Conference released the All-NCKC Girls Basketball Team on Thursday, March 14. Other honorees were: Avery Geiman, Braylin Terrell, Campbell Christy and Elin Logue of Walton-Verona; Haley Logan, Rachel Howard and Kylee Steffen of Owen County; Whitley Biddle and Madison Fisher of Gallatin County; Madeline Lay and Ella Royalty of Henry County; Victoria Spiegl of Eminence; and Gracie Crump of Williamstown.
